Open only to individual residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province 18 or older in AB, MB, ON, PE, and SK, 19 or older in BC, NL, NB, and NS) or territory (19 or older in NT, NU and YT) of residence.
CONTEST PERIODS.
a) Submission Period for the Contest begins on Monday, August 15, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on Sunday, September 18, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”).
b) Judging Period for the Contest begins on Monday, September 19, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Judging Period”).
c) Voting Period for the Contest begins on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time and ends on Friday, September 30, 2011 at 11:59p.m. Eastern Time (the “Voting Period”).
d) Daily Draws: Each Monday (August 22, August 29, September 5, September 12, September 19) during the Contest Period between 12:01 a.m. Eastern Time and 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time the draws will be held for entries submitted in the previous 7 days.
HOW TO ENTER.
PHOTO ENTRY: To enter the Contest and compete for the Seven (7) Photography Prizes and become eligible for the forty five (45) Daily Prizes, Entrant must submit a Submission on-line at www.facebook.com/blacks (“Site”) during the Contest Period either: (a) via a computer, or (b) via his/her mobile phone. Carrier data or other charges may apply to uploading the Submission to a Site using a mobile phone.
SUBMISSION: means an original photograph taken by the Entrant with a mobile phone. A Submission may only be entered once in one of the following three (3) categories: 1. Summer Scenery, 2. Fun with Friends & Family and 3. Would have missed it moments (each a “Category”). Submissions must be a .JPG file and the EXIF data must be intact and unaltered.
In addition Entrant must provide in the Contest entry form on the Site his/her first and last name, mailing address, email address, and telephone number to be used for the purposes of Contest administration.
DAILY DRAWS:
DAILY DRAW – All eligible Submissions entered each day during the relevant Daily Draw Period will be entered into a Daily Draw. One (1) winner will be selected by a random draw from each day’s total Submissions and will be awarded a Angry Birds Plush Toy (approx retail value $39.99). There will be 45 Daily Draw winners, 1 each day, in total throughout the Contest Period.
Submissions from winners in the Daily Draws will also be eligible to win a prize in the Consumer Voting Phase of the Contest.
6. PRIZES: There are fifty five (55) prizes available to be won as follows:
1. DAILY DRAW PRIZE: Forty-Five (45) Angry Birds Plush Toys (approx retail value of $39.99 each).
2. CONSUMER VOTING PHASE PRIZES: There will be ten (10) prizes to be won:
ONE (1) GRAND PRIZE: An Apple Bundle (one of each: iPad 2, iPhone 4, Native Union Moshi BT3) (approx retail value of $1320).
THREE (3) 1RST PRIZES: Blackberry Bundle (BlackBerry 32GB Playbook, Native Union POP Phone) (approx retail value of $640 each).
THREE (3) 2ND PRIZES: Transformer Bundle (Asus Transformer, Native Union POP Phone) (approx. retail value of $540 each).
THREE (3) 3rd PRIZES: Cloud Bundle (INQ Cloud Touch, Native Union POP Phone) (approx.. retail value of $290 each).
a) Mobile phone prize won in this Content may be exchanged by winners for a Black’s gift card.
i) $250 Value for iPhone 4
ii) $50 Value for INQ Cloud Touch
The winner must notify the Sponsor in writing of the exchange request upon receipt of the winner notification. Any and all terms and condition associated with the gift card apply.
b) GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: Mobile phone prize does not include activation and all activations are subject to a credit check and the TELUS Service Terms. Prizes must be accepted as awarded (excepting in the case of mobile phones winners may opt to exchange for a Black’s gift card) and cannot be transferred, assigned, substituted or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of Sponsor. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to substitute a prize or any portion of a prize with one of equal or greater monetary value. All prize values stated herein are in Canadian Dollars. Prizes may be subject to withholding tax and those winners will be responsible for such a tax. Reporting and payment of any applicable federal, state, and provincial taxes are the responsibility of each prize winner.
