Our stay in Gettysburg Pennsylvania

Part of our holidays August 2018


We really liked this hotel.
Very nice looking from outside to inside.
 Breakfast was not included in with our stay.
We had a suite so our son slept on the pullout couch and it was very comfortable.

Our son likes Chineese food so we saw this was a buffet
The place doesn't look like much but the food was fresh and tasty.
                                                           We all enjoyed our food.



The next morning 
For breakfast we went to


95 Presidential Circle

 as it was in the hotel 
Our son had
Buttermilk Pancakes
Maple syrup and whipped butter

and thought they were very delicious
My Husband and I had
 Traditional Eggs Benedict
Poached eggs, Canadian bacon and hollandaise sauce on a grilled English muffin

and thought it was very delicious

We walked around
Downtown Gettysburg









 We went and checked out

Sach's Covered Bridge

Located off Pumping Station Road, this bridge is thought to have been built by David Stoner in 1852. Used by both Union and Confederate Troops during the Civil War Battle of Gettysburg, July 1-3, 1863, visitors today can walk across the lattice bridge, which spans 100 feet in length.
 




We had Dinner at

Our son had a
Club Sandwich
Turkey, ham, bacon, lettuce, tomato and mayonnaise on toasted sourdough.
 I had a wrap
Sweet Chili Chicken or Shrimp
Deep fried or grilled chicken or shrimp with coleslaw and sweet chili sauce.

with french fries and Wild Rice

I had
 Irish Cream Bash
Our son had
Chocolate Cake


 The next morning

For breakfast we went back to

Adams County Breakfast 
  Sunny side eggs, scrapple, caramelized apple, buttermilk pancakes, maple syrup. 


 My Husband had
Omelettes include hash browns and selection of toast Your Way Your choice of three: Bacon, cheddar, tomato, mushroom, green peppers, onion, sausage, ham, chicken apple sausage, salsa or fresh organic spinach.




Our son had




Buttermilk Pancakes
Maple syrup and whipped butter
