For a great experience you can hire your own personal licensed guide to go with
you and your family in your own vehicle. The guide will drive your vehicle for you so you can better enjoy the
experience and see all the sites.
On August 7 2018 we went to The museum and visitor center at 1195
Baltimore Pike to have Steve Slaughter a Licensed Battlefield Guide
drive our car and take us through Gettysburg telling us about the battle
of the American Civil war. He gave a great 3 hour tour with so much
information. My Husband and I went back the next day to some of the
areas to look around more. These pictures are from the 7th and 8th.
The Battle of Gettysburg, fought from July 1 to July 3, 1863, is
considered the most important engagement of the American Civil War.
