Canon Thank You Canada Contest




Open to legal residents of Canada who, by the end of the Contest Period, have reached the age of majority

*Note: The age of majority is 19 years in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland, Northwest Territories, Nova Scotia, Nunavut and Yukon Territories and 18 years in Alberta, Manitoba, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, Quebec and Saskatchewan.

Instant Prizes
12. At the start of the Contest, there will be one hundred Instant Prizes available to be won, each consisting of one Canon PowerShot SD 1300 IS camera (approximate retail value $199.99). Twenty cameras will be available in each of the following five colours: blue, brown, green, pink and silver. Winners will not get to select the colour of their camera prize. To ensure that at least one Instant Prize is available to be won at the start of each day of the Contest Period, the Instant Prizes will be allocated and made available to be won over time as follows: (a) at the start of each of November 12, 2010 and November 18, 2010, there will be at least nine Instant Prizes available to be won; and (b) at the start of every other day during the Contest Period, there will be at least two Instant Prizes available to be won. If all the allocated Instant Prizes for a given day are awarded before that day ends, there will be no Instant Prizes available to be won until the start of the next day. If, on any given day, the allocated Instant Prizes are not awarded, those Instant Prizes will be carried forward and made available to be won on the next day of the Contest. For example, if only four of the nine Instant Prizes allocated for November 18, 2010 are won, there will be seven Instant Prizes available to be won at the start of the day on November 19, 2010. If there are any Instant Prizes that have not been awarded when the Contest closes on December 21, 2010, they will be awarded by a random draw held at the same time and place as the Grand Prize Draw in section 13. The odds of winning an Instant Prize depends on several factors, including the number of eligible entrants who play the Instant Win Game and the date and time the entrants play the Instant Win Game. Further, as the Contest Period progresses and Instant Prizes are awarded, the odds of winning will decrease accordingly.
GRAND PRIZE DRAW
When and Where
13. Around 11:00 a.m. (EDT) on December 22, 2010, a random draw from all eligible entries will be conducted at the offices of Vigorate Digital Solutions at 489 College Street, Suite 401, Toronto, Ontario M6G 1A5, to determine the Grand Prize winners from all eligible entries received.
Grand Prizes
14. There are five Grand Prizes available to be won, each consisting of one black Canon PowerShot G12 camera (approximate retail value $569.99). The odds of winning one of the five Grand Prizes will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received during the Contest Period.
