Fort George National Historic Site of Canada

We took the kids to Fort George National Historic Site of Canada

During the War of 1812, Fort George served as the headquarters for the Centre Division of the British Army. These forces included British regulars, local militia, aboriginal warriors, and Runchey's corps of freed slaves. Fort George was destroyed by American artillery fire and captured during the Battle of Fort George in May 1813.

I say you try to go when they are doing the

•Regular military, musket and artillery demonstrations
•Regular military music demonstrations

The demonstrations make it for sure worth while and educational and the kids and yourself will find it very interesting to watch.

We saw the cannons going off which was great but loud so we had our ears plugged and no pictures of that.
You have to see it.

But here are some pictures of our day.

We had a great day.

This is what we saw coming home.
Thought it was different so i had to take a picture of it.
