Darnley Cascade and Crooks' Hollow Conservation Area

From Hwy 403 take the Hwy 6 N (Guelph) exit and travel approximately 3 km to Hwy 5 E. (Dundas St. E.). Turn left on Hwy 5 E. and then turn left onto Ofield Rd. S. Turn right onto Harvest Rd., Harvest Rd. will become Crooks Hollow Rd. Park on the right, past the Spencer Creek bridge, at the Darnley Mill ruins.

Cross the street and go towards the other side to see

Princess Falls-Chedoke Radial Trail

Princess Falls

From Hwy 403 take the Aberdeen Ave. exit and then turn right onto Queen St. S. Follow Queen St. S. up the Escarpment, where it will turn into Beckett Dr. and then Garth St. Turn right onto Denlow Dr. Follow this road until it becomes Scenic Dr. and park at the Chedoke Radial Trail parking lot on your right. Follow the Chedoke Radial Trail / Bruce Trail east to the waterfall.

It is the first waterfall that you see and it is a smaller one but very nice.

was very nice walking along

with so much of the escarpment walls on the one side

was just nice looking at

 I liked all the escarpment walls

This bridge I thought was different looking

Mountview Falls

This is the second falls you will come across the way we were going on the trail.

But there was no water today when we saw it which is to the right on the bridge

I have seen photos of this when it does have a nice flow but maybe next time we will see it

Went back on the trail to head back to the car

 

 

 

Chedoke Falls and Cliffview Falls

  You can see it from the top as it is located on Scenic Drive at Denlow Dr. (at the first ravine west of Garth St.).

Cliffview Falls is located beside Cliffview Park on Hamilton's Escarpment on Scenic Drive at Upper Paradise Road.
