Program is open to legal residents of the fifty (50) United States and District of Columbia and Canada (excluding the province of Quebec) who are 18 years of age or older.
Write an essay of 100 words or less explaining why you consider yourself to be a social media trailblazer, submit your essay, and upload a photo of yourself (collectively, with essay, registration form, and photo, a “Submission”). Submissions will be divided into two (2) divisions based on whether the participant is male or female (each, a “Division”). Photo must be submitted in .JPG, .GIF, .PNG or .BMP format and cannot exceed 3MB in size. All Submissions must be submitted by 9:00 a.m. ET on October 31, 2011 to be eligible. Participants will have the option of including a link (as applicable) to their Twitter profile, blog or website URL which will be posted during the Voting Period (
PUBLIC VOTING: All eligible Submissions received will be featured at
www.facebook.com/motorolacanada between 12:00 p.m. ET on November 4, 2011 and
12:00 p.m. ET on November 11, 2011 (“Voting Period”). During the Voting Period,
individuals who are at least 13 years of age will be invited to select their favorite Submission. Limit one (1) vote per person/email address per day during the Voting Period.
Awarded in the form of a check, a Motorola RAZR smartphone (service not included), a Lapdock 100, Lapdock 500 Pro, an HD Station, a vehicle navigation dock, a smart controller, a wireless keyboard with cover, and a P893 universal portable power pack. Each award recipient will also be expected to post twice per month to his/her social media channels for a minimum of three (3) months. Post types can include, but are not limited to, tweets, blog posts, videos and Facebook status updates. Posts must abide by Motorola’s social Media Policy to be provided by Motorola at a later date and include transparent declaration of Motorola’s sponsorship. Award recipients will be provided general topic ideas (if needed) to assist in social media post requests. All posts must be reviewed by Motorola before posted in social media channels: each social media post along with any/all photos or videos must be submitted via email to a Promoter representative for by a date and time to be specified by Promoter. Exact dates and times of required social media posts will be determined by Promoter in their sole discretion.
