Sydenham Falls

                                            Lower Sydenham Falls

 Middle Sydenham Falls

Upper Sydenham Falls

The portion of the Bruce Trail that runs north from Sydenham St. in Dundas leads to three waterfalls, the Upper, Middle, and Lower Sydenham Falls. From Dundas, take Sydenham St. north, and you will find access to the Bruce Trail just past Crowley Crt. A short way down the trail is a railway overpass and the Lower Sydenham Falls is beneath it. As you follow the trail upwards, you will come to some wooden steps. The Middle Sydenham Falls is off to your right. It is a bit difficult to get down to. At the top of the stairs, turn right and you will head towards the Upper Sydenham Falls.

Directions from Hwy 403:  From Hwy 403 take the Hwy 6 N (Guelph) exit and travel approximately 3 km to Hwy 5 E. (Dundas St. E.). Turn left on Hwy 5 E. and then turn left onto Sydenham Rd. At the bottom of the Escarpment, turn right onto Livingstone Dr. and park on the side of the road in front of Cascades Park. Follow the Bruce Trail at the north-end of the park to the old railway bridge. The waterfall is under the old railway bridge.
